The Office star Rainn Wilson watched proudly as his young son made his TV debut – and helped his dad sell his new book in the process.

Wilson was a guest on Rachael Ray's US chat show, during which a short advert for his book SoulPancake was shown.

The ad featured numerous people asking questions that baffle them – with Rainn's son Walter making an appearance, asking: 'Why are girls so weird?'

'That was my son's television debut right there, Walter Wilson,' proud dad Rainn grinned.
